Carol’s experience and expertise is particularly suited for developing patent strategies for the world market, including strategies adaptable for multi-nation companies. Carol’s practice includes not only U.S. patent prosecution, but also advising her mid sized to large clients on worldwide patent prosecution strategies.
Carol has technical expertise in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemical technologies. She has knowledge of a wide variety of cutting edge technologies including solid state chemistry, medical adhesives, assays, pharmaceutical compositions, drug delivery, cosmetics, alternative fuels, dental implants, medical devices, biocompatible coating, packaging, and polymers.
In addition to her significant prosecution experience, Carol draws upon her counseling and litigation experience. Throughout her career, Carol gained significant experience in preparing validity and infringement opinions and has worked on a U.S. District Court patent litigation. These experiences have enabled her to hone her prosecution skills so that she is able to draft and prosecute enforceable and valid patents for her clients.
